NOW BOOKING ENGAGEMENTS

Workflows that
run themselves.
Analytics that read minds.

Lightwaiv designs and builds the connective tissue of modern operations — automations that quietly eliminate the boring work, dashboards that surface what matters before you ask, and small web apps that turn one-off spreadsheets into reliable infrastructure.

[ 01 ] What we do

Three practices,
one team, shipped together.

001

Workflow automation

From scattered tabs and Slack threads to a quietly humming pipeline. We map the messy reality, then build the version of it that takes care of itself.

  • Zapier / Make / n8n orchestration
  • Custom backends & webhooks
  • Approval & routing logic
  • Tool consolidation
002

Analytics & dashboards

Numbers people actually look at. We design clear, opinionated dashboards from the warehouse up — with attention to what the next question will be.

  • Data warehouse modelling
  • Looker / Metabase / Hex
  • Embedded reporting
  • KPI definition workshops
003

Helpful web apps

Internal tools that feel like consumer products. We replace the brittle spreadsheet, the duct-taped form, the “just-DM-Sarah” ritual — with a real, lovable app.

  • Internal admin & ops tools
  • Customer-facing portals
  • Next.js / Supabase / Postgres
  • Design + engineering paired

And on the side, small useful things.

Between client engagements we ship tiny, single-purpose web apps — the kind of tools that solve one small annoyance well and stay free forever.

spin2choose.com

A friendly spinner wheel for groups who can’t decide. Add options, give it a flick, accept your fate.

We’re always cooking. Got an idea for a tiny app that should exist? Tell us.

[ 02 ] How it feels

A morning at a Lightwaiv client, before anyone’s awake.

One pipeline. Many quiet wins.

An example flow for a 40-person logistics company. By 8 AM, the operations lead opens her laptop to a tidy summary — not 200 unread emails.  The work was already done, audited, and explained.

“The first week, I kept opening Slack expecting fires. There weren’t any. That’s when I realized it was actually working.” OPERATIONS LEAD · LOGISTICS, 40 PPL

i.

Fixed scope, no surprises

We quote per project, not per hour. If it takes us longer than we thought, that’s our problem to solve.

ii.

A working thing every Friday

Status updates are a substitute for progress. You get a real artifact each week — running, clickable, real.

iii.

Your code, your repos

Everything we build lives in your GitHub from day one. No vendor lock-in, no hostage data, no special sauce.

iv.

No retainers to nowhere

We don’t bill for being on standby. When the work is done, we leave clean. We’re a call away when you need more.

[ 03 ] How we work

Short engagements,
long half-lives.

01

Diagnose — week 1

We sit with the people who actually do the work. Shadow them. Read the messy spreadsheet. Find where the energy leaks. You get a written assessment and a shortlist of bets, ranked by leverage.

02

Build — weeks 2–5

Small, real things, shipped weekly. We’d rather put one workflow into production than design three on a slide. Every Friday: a working artifact, not a status update.

03

Hand off — week 6+

Documentation your future hire can actually read. A short Loom for each surface. We stay on as a fractional team if you want; we leave clean if you don’t. Either is fine.

Make the stressful parts
quiet again.

If you have a workflow that feels like it should be five clicks but is currently fifty — or a dashboard that nobody trusts — we’d like to hear about it. First call is 30 minutes, no deck.
